Green Beans with Radish

Ingredients:

1 lb. green beans, trimmed
2 tsps. olive oil
2 tsps. unsalted butter
1-1/2 tsps. fennel seed
3/4 cup radishes, trimmed and cut into 1/8 inch slices
2 scallions, trimmed and thinly sliced
1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Instructions:

Place green beans in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover saucepan and steam 4 minutes. Remove from steamer basket and rinse under cold water. Drain thoroughly and set aside. Heat oil and butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Sauté green beans and fennel seeds 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Add remaining ingredients and pepper to taste. Sauté 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, or until green beans are tender.
