preheat oven 350. combine crumbs,sugar, peacons in a bowl. add melted butter and mix well. press mixture into springfrom pan 1 1/2 inches on side and bottom. bake for 10 minutes.
beat together cream cheese, sugar, mile , flour and vanilla. add eggs and beat just untill blemded. pour into the hot crust. bake for 50 to 55 minutes. cool in the pan 30 minutes. loosen sides pf springfrom and remove. cool compelety. arrangw pecans halves on top of cheesecake.
in a saucepan mis sugar, cornstarch. add 1 1/2 cups of water. bring to a boil. stir over medium heat untill thickend and bubbly about 5 minutes. stir in butter and add pecans
